Privacy Policy

Your ride data stays under your control.

Velolytica is designed as an offline-first cycling analytics app. It does not require an account, does not operate a cloud service for ride analysis, and does not collect personal data from the app.

Effective date: July 2, 2026

Data Velolytica processes

When you import or record a ride, Velolytica processes ride data on your device. This can include GPS track points, timestamps, elevation, speed, power, cadence, heart rate, sensor metadata, ride names, and derived analytics such as training load, power curves, zones, climbs, and personal records.

Data collection

Velolytica does not collect this ride data on developer-operated servers. The app does not require you to create an account and does not upload your rides to Velolytica to analyze them.

Storage

Imported rides, recorded rides, app settings, and derived analytics are stored locally on your device. If an Apple system feature such as device backup stores app data, that storage is governed by your Apple settings and Apple's privacy terms.

Health data

If you choose to import rides from Apple Health, Velolytica uses the permission you grant through iOS to read cycling workout data. Health data is used to create ride records and analytics in the app. Velolytica does not sell Health data and does not use it for advertising.

Export and deletion

Velolytica is designed to avoid lock-in. You can export original ride files where available. You can delete rides in the app, and you can remove the app from your device to delete app data managed by iOS.

Third parties

Velolytica does not share your ride data with third-party analytics, advertising, or social services. If you choose to share an exported file or share card yourself, that sharing is controlled by you through iOS.
